Yes. The recognizer runs in your browser, so a scan costs us nothing and we do not meter it. Pro pays for the features that run on our servers: PDF books, video to trainer and sync.
One call to POST /v1/recognize, whatever the number of boards in the image. Quota is per account across all your keys, per calendar month (UTC). Past the limit the API returns 429 with X-RateLimit headers that show when it resets.
Any time, from the billing portal in your account. Pro and API plans stay active until the end of the period you paid for.
